I didn't write up a DIY 'cause there are so many similar ones here. But in brief:
I tapped power from the center console power outlet, and ran it through a powered switch in the center console. The switch is one of three I used to replace the blanks that the Base model comes with. From the switch I ran wires forward and rearward to the lights. The front bars are mounted directly to the dash, where it curves under (so they can't be seen). The rear lights are attached to the front of the "shelf". If you could see behind the seats they would be in plain view, but the angle of the seat back covers them up. Hope this helps. |
