I bought some resin at a marine shop. I put one coat over it looks pretty good. That was last night. Gonna sand it tonight and apply a second coat. On Monday I will sand it again and put 2 coats of BASF clear coat on them. I'll be all set after that. I want to add that you do not NEED to make a hole for the key but I like to think ahead. In case the battery dies.

I think there *is* such a thing as too much carbon fiber. CF has a real place in automobile construction--just ask Lamborghini! But pasting a CF piece over an already-functional part (like a door handle or B pillar) could make you look like a poser. Of course it's a matter of individual taste, but if you ask me, I'd say paint it--either body color or some other color that ties in with your car, like the brake calipers. (For the record, I have a gunmetal Z with blue calipers and I intend to paint the handles blue as well.)

I have to totally disagree but I guess I am partial to carbon since my car has quite a few pieces on it. I think anything you choose to do can be done tastefully. This is one reason these parts are so in abundance because so we all can make our own choices and accessorize our cars how we see fit. I mean we are the one's that have to like since we are paying the note each month. I say do what makes you happy and if thats driving around with your seats carbon fibered then happy sliding!!

Just my two cents!!

Just thought I'd share some pics of this product and my review. Awesome fit and finish. They went on with no problems or modifications, but I did add a little more 3M adhesive tape to make them more secure.

Look Great!! Mine are on order!!

What do they look like from the rear point of view? I want to know if the underside of the handle is still visible; and if so, to what degree.

BTW, it looks like EVO-R needs to update their web site because the handle overlays do not appear to be in stock.
