I got my LED's in today that I ordered from JWMotorsports(very quick shipping i might add) to mod my map lights, trunk light, and tag lights. I'll be posting before/during/after pics either later on tonight or atleast by tmrrw:tup:

Just out of the package

If you don't mind me asking, what was the total for all the lights?

Thanks,

Did mine (Map Light, Trunk, and License Plate) over the weekend and its a huge difference. You will like it. I was amazed! Took about 5 mins for the whole thing.

Next weekend will be the Front Parking Lights and Reverse Lights. This may take a bit longer....Blah!

How'd you get the map light covers off without leaving marks on the black plastic housing? Ive changed mine once but i left tiny screwdriver marks:mad:

I bought a set of plastic auto trim removal tools from the local harbor freight.

:iagree: The way to remove is to use a plastic trim tool. They are pretty cheap and lasts a long time. I have used a flathead screwdriver with a cloth in the past but the plastic trim tools are the best.

These are a worthy investment as long as you plan on modding your Z.

4 Piece Nylon Pry Bar Installer Kit

USMCASA 04-02-2012 05:52 PM

might i suggest testing them with a couple of pieces of wire and a 9volt prior to installation. that way you know they work and no shorts. if you plug them in around the plate and they have a short you'll have a fun time finding where the fuse you just blew is... ask me how i know lol
