Looks sweet man! You should add some more black to the mix, door handles, mirrors and maybe the rear wing to balance it out.

I think they were referring to Eagle's hood, that he uploaded as an attachment.
The white one looks like VIS or maybe even CarbonSignal.

I really need to get my Seibon TS hood on, been sitting in my place for to long. :shakes head:

Huck 12-04-2013 08:36 AM

True true. I've had my eye on the VIS Terminator hood for a while now. Kinda spent all my money on brakes though so I gotta save up some more money lol

I was considering the VIS Terminator also but heard that the Seibon is a better quality product. I do like the look of the VIS hood just a bit more though

Huck 12-04-2013 01:35 PM

I've heard the same thing but a friend of mine has had a Vis hood for 2 years now with no problems, no yellowing or anything. The only thing is that it didn't come with the latch for the hood lock I think. I can't remember. If seibon had the same Terminator design I would buy that one first but I love that design so I'll get the Vis one

Pretty please show us the underside. Especially where that vent is paced in relation to the motor.

cycy89 12-05-2013 10:06 AM

I'll try to find more photos from different angle. The car's not in my hand at the moment.

cycy89 12-05-2013 10:08 AM

But if you look down the vent, dip stick is kinda in the middle

Find 2 photos of the same angle, one with hood up.

Chuck33079 12-05-2013 10:17 AM

So basically the center vent is right about where it should be for optimal cooling. Thanks.

Kingbaby 12-23-2013 01:18 AM

anyone think about using the mustang GT 500 vent?

I have seen one in person (just the vent), a co-worker was adding it to a Mustang GT hood. The Mustang hood is a bit more flat than ours and might not sit 'flush' if used, and the piece was not very flexible from what I could tell.

Just saw this hood pop up from TAS 2014 by Fujimura:

Very interesting, coming from them I would imagine this is a functional piece.

theDreamer 01-20-2014 10:33 AM

INGS has a new one out, looks similar to the one found on the nismo RC in japan racing cars.

Middle vents WAY too big! :ugh2:

Riptide67 01-20-2014 05:34 PM

Aerojacket SS hood in CF. Vents are very functional, I could feel the heat coming through them.

This has to help get some heat out but it's been to cold around here to tell.

Odd it's not sideways on my computer?

theDreamer 01-27-2014 07:08 AM

Can you get a clean above the hood shot (looking down), curious how it compares to the Seibon TS in terms of the openings.

Here you go.

JWillis72 01-27-2014 09:01 AM
