Look at the black plastic surface that's rectangled (made that word up) in green. The driver side has more visible area than the passenger side. So it seems to be angled in more towards the door.

Am I seeing things? Maybe I'm overthinking but I swear they're not symmetrical!!

yea i could see them being the same size, just angled slightly different in orientation to the driver

yep, the mirror housing is symetrical. the mirror glass is angled differently...

On another note, is there an aftermarket mirror set out there for our cars? I personally think the housings are a little big for the car as it is.

I have searched but found nothing........
