I used to do little touches of matte bumper and trim paint with good results. Kinda got sold on 'dip in about 2011 on a G I had. I blackedout a chrome grill and it still looks really good after 3.5 years of hard driving including winter snow and road salt. BTW, what color is your Z? Good Luck. Sterling |

Plasti Dip
I have Plasti-Dipped my door handles, fangs, badges and wheels. Now considering dipping the entire car from the stock pearl white to the matte black...
Anyone have any input - pros or cons on having entire Z dipped? |

Looks great! Just need to do the headlights now.

^^ Imo the car is too stock to pull off the matte black look.

How did you just do the "Z" part? |
You can tape it off and trim the tape with a razor or X-Acto.

Wheels dipped, custom 'carbon' gray by DipFormula (find on Instagram). Hudson Valley authorized dip retailer, custom colors is his specialty. I didn't want black like every other car. They look amazing in person. |
