the new 2011 370z automatics come with a shift light indicator that lets you know when to shift in s mode. can this be installed in a 2010 with automatic transmission

thanks. i saw your thread. i was just wondering if the 2011 instrument panel with the upshift indictaor will fit a 2010. i want to know what else would have to be changed to make this work?

Seems like the Tach would be about as easy to see as a light? It is pretty prominant in the insturment cluster.

It is a good function to have when driving in sport mode to let you know when to shift properly. If you bought the 2011 tach cluster, would you have to get a new ecu?

Looking closely at my tach on my '09 7AT, it looks like the circle for the shift indicator light to shine through is there. I wonder if it's just not hooked up or disabled.

I also noticed that the 2011 370z automatics has rev in the tachometer. The 2010 automatics don't.
