OP, you should take you scratched up knob and run into the dealership holding it aloft and scream at the top of your lungs "look what you bastards did to my knob!, I demand satisfaction!".

That's really up to you dude. It seems that you already know the answer to your question. If you thinlk you should compalin then by all means, take it into the stealership and bring it up to them.

I'm sure they'll step up and take care of it for you. I mean....you paid them for installation, right? You did that for a reason..to have it done properly.

no one can really tell u what to do in this situation. it all boils down to whether or not u matter that the stock was scratched and if you want to go out of your way to get this repaired/replaced. The dealership was wrong, but is it worth the hassle to get a stock knob u probably wont be using again?
