Need an advice

I just got a nismo shift knob installed at the dealership but they scratch my stock shift knob what do you think I need to do?

DjSquall 06-10-2011 06:21 AM

Have them give you a new one.

Red__Zed 06-10-2011 08:00 AM

Wouldnt worry about it. It is pretty difficult to get that stOcker off clean.

ImportConvert 06-10-2011 08:08 AM

Depends on the scratch and the over-all attitude of the dealership. I might raise hell if they are picky annoying people, or I might let it go if they were polite, personable, cut me a deal, etc.

Hold it in your hand tightly, then press down, down forward, then forward, and push B. They can never block that, usually.

ok seriously, if the dealership did damage to anything on/of your car, they need to own up to it. Show it to them (I hope you did this immediately and didn't let time pass too long because then they could claim you scratched it yourself) and demand they give you a new one.

Are you at all reading the posts above in response to your original question? Why are you still asking? Sounds like you already know what you want to do, and are waiting for someone else to share the same thoughts.

Unsubscribing.......:shakes head:

lots of good advices in this thread.

OP, you should take you scratched up knob and run into the dealership holding it aloft and scream at the top of your lungs "look what you bastards did to my knob!, I demand satisfaction!".

That's really up to you dude. It seems that you already know the answer to your question. If you thinlk you should compalin then by all means, take it into the stealership and bring it up to them.

COMPALIN AWAY!!

I'm sure they'll step up and take care of it for you. I mean....you paid them for installation, right? You did that for a reason..to have it done properly.

no one can really tell u what to do in this situation. it all boils down to whether or not u matter that the stock was scratched and if you want to go out of your way to get this repaired/replaced. The dealership was wrong, but is it worth the hassle to get a stock knob u probably wont be using again?
