Driveway paint job (satin black)

I think it looks alright, in pics, but would be curious how it looks up close. Props for out of the box thinking with it!

I agree with both of these statements. Looks good... in distant pictures. Definitely have some balls repainting your $30k+ car in your driveway.

I dig the satin color. Just hope you did some decent prep work and cleared the hell out of it. Otherwise that paint is coming off.

Personally, I would have wrapped it. There are places where I live that will wrap the Z for about 2k or paint for 5-6k.

Kudos to you for trying something different, however since the Z is not a Honda I would have taken a few steps to make sure it's sprayed in a sanitary environment and prepped the hell out of it.

I'd like to see some up-close pics.

I know it can go a long way but there aren't any tenants living in the places adjacent to mine. The other cars you see in the background were friends of mine and nothing got on theirs so I highly doubt it was retaliation for overspray.

Once I paint it again from where it got keyed I will get someone with a better camera to take bigger/closer/better pics

We did an intense amount of prep work and wet sanding etc.
