370Z Headlight Adjustment
2 Attachment(s)
Looked everywhere for a pic of the adjustment screw. The silver 8mm head with the large fender washer raises and lowers the aim on the headlight. I removed the wheel well liner for another reason, you can do it by removing a couple of the plastic fasteners as moving the liner out of the way.

You could also upgrade your hid bulbs to 5000k for brightness. This may offset for the height.

Exactly. It has nothing to do with the aim of the headlight. The 5000k also has less usable light than the oem 4200-4300k.

Same here....and the Swift doesn't lower the front that much..

Swapping to a clear projector lense would brighten the lights quite a bit and sharpen the cutoff when adjusted/installed correctly. |
That's for sure!

Didn't wanna dig up an old thread but makes more sense to reuse the old one than to start a new one....
So, after lowering my car, my headlights are aiming too low. Eibach springs are used lower 20mm in the back, 25mm in the front, meaning the angle of the car is now changed therefore the beams aim lower - regardless of the overall car height. (I am stating this because I see some people have trouble understanding this.....) So, about the adjustment. I checked the pics and have consulted the FSM - it notes the screw to adjust this, but in the FSM - the screw is pictured to be accessible from under the hood. Is this a correct drawing or is this screw only accessible from within the wheel arch? https://i.imgur.com/VUNmPJAh.png |
