Default blacked out door handles

I just went to a body shop asking for my door handles to be painted black and the guy mentioned he couldnt paint inside the door handle properly when you open up the handle and that there would be overspray. What should I do?

If it's not too much of a problem, all of the visible surface will be covered. Only the part under the handle won't be and you only see that when you open the handle. If this isn't good enough then yes you'll have to do it yourself.

In my shop we use a dime wedged in to keep the handle open when painted they come out great just like new just black

my shop did them fine also, even the button. I think they disassembled them, but I'm not really sure.

The only thing that gets disassembled it the button, the handle itself stays together, hence using the dime to hold open the handle.
