CarbonSignal Amuse Rear installed
I chose to paint the Amuse rear a little different than most people. I thought it looked 100% better matching the license plate area with the color of the car. My installer did a great job matching the paint, and doing a lot of custom work which was needed in order to get this thing to look as good as it does.
Anyways, here are the pics. I need a new camera. I know they are crappy pics but I will take some later at sunset. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...de15/rear1.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00071.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00069.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00068.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00066.jpg http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00065.jpg Thanks for looking  |

Looks great bro! PW ftw
Do you have any issues w/ the F.I. tips touching the bumper? Mine is a tight fit w/ the amuse...probably have to get it adjusted at some point. I went w/ a different paint scheme too...left the entire center section CF (license area and bra strap) - looks like a big diffuser, haha. I'll have to get some pics up soon. I'm going w/ the Mine's add-on as well...may paint it PW though, not sure. Keep it going...looks fantastic! |
man that looks soooooo good, I like your choice of painted parts looks better then you would have left it unpainted in white :)

nice color match indeed!

Car looks really good in person, I don't think alot of the members understand the time & money involved in making the carbon signal kit fit like seeyabuds does. The work shows for itself, this is def the nicest looking amuse rear on the forum IMO.

Try jdm! Inb4 flame wars. Looks good though. Is it prepeg or wet lay up?

I want to buy this rear bumper but i live in Panama and I know there is a chance the bumper will deform during shipping. And I don't plan spending extra money on making it fit...
Was it a lot of work to make it fit nicely? what was needed to work on? |

In the actual bumper itself, there is a part where the license plate frame is that was a huge hole. My installer created a mold from my OEM bumper out of fiberglass to fit in that area so it would be as close to OEM as possible. Not only does it look great with the plate off, the plate is tightly secured and doesn't vibrate. He also made a custom bracket for the trunk opener which actually sits more flush than it did on the OEM bumper. I will try and get some pics of that for you guys tomorrow. |

I wonder how much/what kind of work is needed for the actual Amuse rear?

Here are some pictures of the trunk opener. It sits very flush and is a lot easier to get to on this bumper.

My installer did an excellent job keeping it close to OEM looking and clean. http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC00083.jpg |
Looks great! :tiphat:
Are the side skirts and front bumper still stock? I can't tell |

|

You could still do it, the 40th color could be matched

looks really good man! :tiphat: i have to agree tho... the stock spoiler looks a little puny back there now... i'm not saying you need a 747 wing, but something else would be the cherry on top imo
