I just have the front and have only scraped a couple of times when my 300 lb friend was in the passenger seat. Just learn which roads are good and try to stick to them, otherwise be very cautious when on roads you aren't sure about (especially residential and back roads) and when you are pulling in and out of any parking lot.
Also, make sure you save the stock pieces! If anything did happen it'll be much less devastating if you can simply put the stock bumper and sides back on. |
That's the only way to drive these cars.
My Celica front is 4-4.5 inches of the ground and I already know where I can and can not go. Just wanted to see if this is lower. Whether I would need to re-learn the routes. If this front is about the same, then I am good, if not I might have to think twice about getting it. Good advice on the stock pieces. |

1.5" front and 1.25" rear

Post pics man.
IMO, if there isn't a wheel gap, the kit will not last whatsoever. I'm looking for the perfect balance between minimal wheel gap and drivability. |

I did a quick chop by superimposing a stock 370Z onto the Amuse 370Z. Does not seem like a huge difference in side skirts. Maybe 2 inches (correct me if I am wrong).
However I have no idea how low the stock ones are to the ground. Might have to take a trip to the neighborhood dealer. To bad they only have touring convertibles left. No Sport Packages. |
It is suppose that the vestito will drop 1.5" from the Stock in this case the nismo but what is the height of the nismo?...
Im waiting for BP numbers but aint the nismo 7.9"? So it iwll be 6.4" with the vestito installed? Can some one corroborate this? although that pics at the 1st page from the 370z site ain't no reference because they lowered the car for track if im not wrong Just a reference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFbH7...4664D78836BE88 |
Hmm, the only options i see if we want to maintain the looks of Amuse kit + body drop + being able to drive around in city is to go with 20'' wheel and fat tires. I'm already scraping my underbody (flex pipe on exhaust) even with swift spring + stock wheel at most speed bumps (KL Malaysia). That's taken at 45-70 deg angle, cant imagine the damage if I were to go with Amuse kit.

Just wondering guys, do you guys use a vent for the front bumper? Why or why not?

Zen have you lower your car height or are you on stock suspension?? |
FYI guys - a lot of you have been PMing me asking for how much clerance I have at stock suspension height. I am working on it, just forgot yesterday. 3 inches at the side skirts is correct, though. I will have the front measured sometime today.
