 Sealer I used was simply a black color high temp gasket sealer they sell at autozone for 5 bucks. I have read people just reheat the lights when complete "which we did as well" but I felt the extra black silicon wasnt going to hurt anything and would just give better protection against water and leaks.... PS: NO LEAKS OR WATER OR ANYTHING... they are still perfect
