Wow, great find. How is the install process?

Install is pretty simple. You have two tabs that stick on the bottom with holes in the center. The holes line up with the holes pre drilled into the spoiler. This is a template for the holes you will need to drill in the trunk. You line up your spoiler and tape the tabs to the trunk. When you remove the spoiler the tabs are stuck to the trunk with holes where you need to drill. After that its silicone, hardware, and red 3m double side tape which is pre installed to the bottom of the spoiler. When I do mine I will do a DIY write up for everyone.

That is great, looking forward to the DIY write up.

Yeah. I didn’t want to trade hatches due to vin etching and this spoiler was such a great deal. The paint is DuPont and it honestly was an amazing color match. I do not have a single complaint.

Just ordered mine from them directly, very easy to deal with and you gotta love free shipping! I'm excited and can't wait, they told me mine goes for paint on Monday!

jpritche 01-13-2012 04:58 PM

I have had mine for almost 2 years. Everything still looks great!!

b1adesofcha0s 01-13-2012 05:30 PM

I've had mine for almost a year now and it's been great. The only thing that annoys me is that water ALWAYS gets trapped under the spoiler when it rains or when I wash the car.

This^^

I understand that a replica will NEVER be as good as factory, but this is damn close. I have had really no complaints whatsoever. I would recommend this to everyone who doesn't want to fork out for the factory one. Who knows the paint could actually be better than factory...

Ill be sure to post pics of my spolier when I get it sometime next week!

I just took my factory one off for a repaint, I can tell you it has waay more than 2 screws. It has 4 screws + something like 8 clipon bracket type things.

But what I can tell you is that it's pretty sealed along the edges, did the seal go all the way around in this one? Or are there gaps?

I dont know about that. My factory spoiler, though it seems like its tightly sealed, still traps some water after wash/rain.
