wow amazing job

NewYorkJon34 02-17-2011 10:12 PM

Geez, I wouldn't make you drive 8+ hours for a pair of headlights, the money in gas prob cost more then the lights would lol

tsolin01 02-17-2011 10:30 PM

Damn it I called dibs! lol oh well can't wait to see the finished product on the car.

cheshirecat 02-17-2011 10:41 PM

question- will there not be any problems with the excessive heat inside the headlight? will it damage the gel coat/clear coat/whatever on the CF? Obviously the idea is to not have this happen, just wondering if it's even something to factor in.

Beautiful lights.

That's what we will be testing, obviously Tony would not sell them if all the kinks weren't worked out.

docaam 02-17-2011 11:48 PM

KaienZ34 02-18-2011 12:29 AM

well HID use only 35w of power and the projector channels the light/heat to a spot so usually it shouldn't get thaat hot inside at least not hot enough to change the color of the clear coat.

Matte finish can be done. I have an additive for my clear so they dry matte instead of glossy...a little tougher to do but can be done.

White/cf.... Its actually a fiberglass/carbon fiber hybrid...Alot thicker than real cf and extremely tough to work with cuz of the thickness...But looks good.
