yesssssss looks good.

They look good Frank. Can't wait to see them in person. It's nice to see you take the time to do something different to you car. At times, our 370Z community can get very trendy about looks and car parts. Regardless, I respect the fact that you take the time to baby and work on your own car. I don't have the skills or bravery to take that chance.

BTW, there's a GTG this afternoon by Perimeter Mall. I know you can't bring the Z, but you should come out if you can. Let me know when you want me to drop off your calendar.

Thanks James it isn't that hard but very tedious and time consuming the attention to detail is a must as far as the "Z" emblem they were both straight but after getting wrestling the head lights back together they are only off a little the camera makes it look allot worst than it appears.
For those of you wondering were the small factory "z" emblem came from if you have a 2010 look on your key fob.:ughdance:

Now your saying you put them in the oven at 260? Some say 210. What do you think? I guess it would be a scary thought of melting. But I guess it worked out fine.

260 is the max,yes it starts to get plyable but @ 250 for 10 min it was hardening up too quick when removing the lens so it had to be put back in to heat it up some more to finish removing it.

The 2ND headlight was in @ 260 for 10 min which gave me enough time for my wife to hold it :icon17:and me to slow remove the lens in one shot.

i did mine at 215 for 12-15 mins, came apart perfect.. I did halos on my g35 so ive done it before, fairly easy.. just make sure they seal good bcause no one likes the condisation in the head lights.

saber 01-17-2011 12:05 PM

Huh. Not too fond of the Z logo there actually. Just seems to be that little touch extra that (yes it sets it apart but) looks out of place.

Other than that, it's pretty nice. Would like to see it installed though, just curious to see if it becomes overbearing on the rest of the car. Do you have different color accents on the front of the car to set it off?

Any full size pics of the whole car with the bumper on? I was thinking about getting mine done with white on white.
