ok, so who has one of these installed? i know quite a few of you do! am i retarded or something, because the collar will NOT screw into the knob.

ok, so who has one of these installed? i know quite a few of you do! am i retarded or something, because the collar will NOT screw into the knob. im waiting on a pm from thirdgearperformance but i figured id post up, maybe someone else someday will have the same issue. the threads screw in maybe once or twice then stop. i've tried everything aside from vice grips to screw this darn thing in and it wont budge! none of the threads look stripped or otherwise unusual on the collar nor the inside of the knob...am i missing something here?
