That looks great, I like it more than the EVO-R splitter. I just wish it didn't extend as far out, an inch or two less would be perfect in my opinion.

Looks fantastic! Thanks for the install DIY and all of the pics!

Im also right on the fence about getting this.. Ive wanted a very simple lip and this is the closest thing to that right now. I think it would look hot on a black Z like mine, but it does stick out just maybe a half inch further than I expected

It really isn't that aggressive considering some of the lips that are out. I like the way it looks, if I could have anything I'd like it to be a tad bit lower, but then again... I might regret that after I start driving around with it.

I suggest getting longer screws or using bolts/washers and nuts.

About a month ago I was driving and I heard a thump then I ran over something. Come to find out, the lip came off and I ran over it... destroying it completely.

I haven't decided if I'm going to buy another one yet. If I do, I will fasten it to the bumper with more than a few screws.

It would be nice if they could mold it to where it's more of an undertray... that way it wouldn't run the chance of getting ripped off so easy.

It does(did) look great though!

Oh yeah... I know. I'm really torn because I really loved the way it looked. If I get another one, I'm going to color match it to my car.

It is between that or the Bomex or a Seibon GT lip.

The splitter flying off has happened to a few people I know because of the provided hardware. Love the look of this splitter using larger screws worked for me.

That is what I have been told, although I trusted Stillen and took their word as to it being strong enough. I've driven 140-150mph with it on without any issues, however that one day it just didn't want to hang out with my bumper anymore.

I ended up ordering another one yesterday so I should be getting is next week. I'll most more pics when it's back on and painted silver.

:hello:

iceman21_23 06-14-2011 01:17 PM

mines still hanging on but i didn't use the screws supplied by stillen.. although i think the actually lip part, not where it connects to the bumper is warped from being scrapped battered and bruised also the Texas heat!

RCZ 06-14-2011 01:21 PM

We put so many screws on for mine....its kinda silly not to buy more screws and reinforce something thats in the direct path of fast moving air...
