Yea that is a common issue with poor installs. I have seen this happen a lot. If the installer looked closer at the car's firewall there is a free grommet

Yea that is a common issue with poor installs. I have seen this happen a lot. If the installer looked closer at the car's firewall there is a free grommet on the passenger side behind the battery. You can then reach it behind the blower motor ect. I used this grommet for my blinder laser jammer install. Do it properly and you will not need any silicone. (still not a bad idea to use some on the grommet just make it look neat and clean) Hate to see new cars get ruined with carelessness. Get them to correct their mistakes. Good Luck.
