Pulled up the carpet and found a virtual greenhouse under there. The moisture from the leak has ruined the carpet, liner and rusted some of the hardware. tried to seal

Pulled up the carpet and found a virtual greenhouse under there. The moisture from the leak has ruined the carpet, liner and rusted some of the hardware. tried to seal with silicon but don't know if that will work. The shop that installed the stereo is playing stating that ,"Their only human and make mistakes." No arguing with that, just pay to fix the problem!!! ($1,950 worth of damage)
