If you push it once when the engine is off you can get the radio to work and same with pushing it twice..but if you push it twice a lot of other things come on..like the AC..and that will kill the battery. I know because that I learned that .. the easy way,...
I did this and killed the battery but it was in my own driveway and so a neighbor came over and jumped the battery and I was ok.. I say the easy way because prior to this I was at a remote state park doing exactly the same thing but lucky for me was listening only for a brief time and did not kill the battery.. Lesson learned...the easy way..
