I wouldn't recommend them though, not only have I had quality problems, but as I did more and more reading, it appears many people have issues with their quality.

12K miles on my seats no issues, they are really comfortable and they do have a warranty if there is. They useed real leather and suade and not man made.

Would you think Classic Soft Trim is the way to go. I have a reasonable bid from them but I'm really hesitant that I'm creating a problem for myself, as the base cloth seats are fairyl nice and going with leather is not mandatory if it's going to turn into a headache.

So..its a clump of leather huh?!! For roughly $700? How much was the install from the upholsterer?

Well, I'm almost at 12k and my paint is still perfect, I'm talking more about the long term, like my older 350. I probably started developing minor problems around 17k miles, and by 25k miles, the driver side just looked terrible on the bolsters.

But again, no need to take my word on it. A little went a long way to proving the quality of KS.

Katzkin is a custom kit that is custom cut for the seat on every order.

I have a milage warranty on mine so if you had problems they should fix them.

Thats true, on my order, since I had the touring which has the electric seat buttons on the side of the seat, they said they used the 350Z template for the bottom part and the 370z template for the back part. I think it comes out looking very good.

I've ran a thread search and have been unable to find where I can purchase After market leather seat covers. Can someone point me in the correct direction to find them for a base 370?
:tiphat:

Thanks,

I'm right in the middle of this myself for my red base '09 370Z. See my thread above regarding logo. I'm doing Katzkins for $1100 including embossed lgo, stitching and perforated inserts. This shop is near to my house has been doing such things for several auto franchises for several decades. That's why I'm dealing with them rather than Classicsofttrim. Their price was about the same.

katzkin makes great covers, not everyone installs them right. I would never try to install them on my own, it's so much harder than it seems! There are many installers around here, not sure where you are at. PM me your zip and I can have my Katzkin dealer find an installer in your area. if you are close to Fusz, have them do it and support those who support you!

Hey so I spoke to the manager at wet okole seat covers, which I have heard a lot of great thinks about. He said that he should have the 370Z pattern on a couple weeks. They are waterproof, easy to install over your seat, and washable, so it's get if you take the Z to the beach. Anyway, if anyone is interested, I'll post it when they are available.

If you really want leather seats I can always sell you my leather seats and they have heated seat warmers built in! and the are powered...

so look at it this way you pay $700 for covers that will sag or you pay $1400 and you get OEM quality, Seat warmers, power adjustment...

I would go OEM  also you can sell your stock seats and really only end up paying the 700 in the first place...

Ive use katzkin interiors in a cpl customers vehicles and had a kit in my old truck, The covers are exactly what you would get if you went to an upholsterer and had them make new covers. heres a quick pic...

Katzkin Leather

I am having Katzkin leather installed on my new 2009 Z. Based on the swatches in the portfolio...The quality looks impressive. I believe you can purchase the covers as a consumer, but I am having the dealer install them.

I have that on the OEM leather seats, so, it shouldn't be all too surprising.
