When I floor the car, I hear a clicking sound
It seems like it's coming from under the steering column. Any ideas???

Nawz?

Probably a problem from you flooring it too many times.
LOL |
What gas are you using...
|
That always happens right before the sonic boom.

I don't floor it that often, but today while I was on the freeway and I punched it several times. When I did this I could hear a noise coming from underneath the steering column. It was a feint sound that fluttered. Like when you put a piece of paper into a moving fan.
It was very faint. This only happened when I floored it. I guess I will have the dealer look at it next time I'm in for service. |

Don't tell the dealer you floored it...haha

I have a similar clicking once I reach about 2K RPMs. See if it's actually coming from the shift knob (if it's an MT...). It'll stop if you hold the base of the shifter...it sounds like something just came loose. Dealer said they'll be contacting nissan about what needs to be fixed to remedy mine. I'll let you know what the resolution is to save you the same trouble at the dealer.

bring the car in ...

I actually happens to me when I am on a road that is not very smooth. But when if I press on the top of column it sometimes stop. Got to take it in I guess.

I would check your oil level.

Is your VDC off??? if so when you floor it, the gps tracking activates and starts transmitting your location to the death star... all it needs is ten seconds and BOOM!!! It gets a lock and fires!!!
