Who all is interested in upgrading your interior? PRICING!!!
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased my '09 PW 370 fully loaded and I have a friend of mine from the s2k days that owns an interior shop. I am adding a pole for two reasons: 1) to gain interest for those who want to upgrade their base interior without the $3k price tag and 2) for those who would like to have custom inserts, door panels, and you name it re-upholstered. All the work done by the shop is insanely GOOD Quality Workmanship and the prices are killer as well! I personally am going to have alot done just so we can have some products for the 370z community! My sacrifice = your gain (new products) if there is enough interest! If your interested in the companies previous work I can pm you his web address. I would post it here but I do not want to violate any forum rules. If the mods say it is ok I will update it with the web address. here are some sample pics of the company's work: http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/handle1.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/Handle3.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/door2.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/ap1pad2.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/seat1.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/seat3.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/seat4.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/Dash2.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog...s/Diamond4.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog...s/Diamond3.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog...doorcenter.jpg http://www.jpmcoachworks.com/catalog/images/Trunk.jpg These are just a few pieces the company has done... very high quality work! I had it on my S and now its going in my Z!!! If there is enough interest They will offer GB and discount pricing to members ;) PRICING UPDATES!!! Looks like some nice work! I would probably be interested depending on the price and what pieces you are planning on offering.
I am going to talk to the owner this week and we are going to discuss product offerings. If you guys have any suggestions let me know and I will bring it up to him.
As of right now these are the items I am looking to have made available. -Dash -Gauge covers -A pillars -Roof Interior -Seat Inserts -Door Inserts -Door Uppers -Door Lowers -Shift Boot -Center Console -Steering Wheel -E Brake If you guys can think of anything else please post up! |
Ill be keeping up with this thread. I wish you would match the suede from the Touring package and upholster other stuff with it. I was thinking about going to my local place and having some bits done.
Yeah I would probably only be interested in stuff that matches the existing touring seats.
Will keep an eye on this thread.
Yes as you guys have mentioned everything can be done to match the current colors. Again that will be another subject I will bring up to the owner. Good Job guys keep it coming!
If you have questions about pricing PM me and I will give you his web address which has pricing for other vehicles and should get you in the ball park. Granted I can probably work with him to give us GB discounts and member discounts as well. Mike |
Very nice work.
I have an interest!! I also live in Atlanta! I also work at a dealership (networking plug)!
Pricing? Turn Around time? Warranty on work? |
wow....that looks nice...the lettering are cool...the Solstice pic.....nice
I bought a red Z for a reason.... I like to stand out!! I def plan on upgrading the interior to custom. But when the time is right
Turn around time is usually pretty quick when he has templates on hand. Hence where I come in as my car will probably be the model in which he makes templates. As for the other questions I will have to wait until we meet up Wednesday night. It will be his first look at the interior and he will have an idea of what he can do. I believe we will have alot of options but I will have to wait until we talk to confirm what they can and cannot do.
We talked on the phone last night and they are very anxious to get some products out to you guys. :D |
SWEET!! Keep us informed!! Thanks
how about a GT3 kit (alacantara everywhere!!)
They do great work
I had the company rework a center console for my Turbo Sky.............Dang nice work. I contacted the company a few weeks ago and asked if they were doing anything for the 370Z. I was thinking about covering the rear support bar in padded diamond stiched black alcantara. Glad to see they are getting some exposure with the Z crowd
PM me the shop info, I want to talk to them about the seats
I pm'd you the shop info :D let me know how it goes.
UPDATE:
I talked with Joe last night and we are both extremely excited! Since the Interior is highly modular it makes Joe's job that much easier to provide Interior parts for us and the rest of the 370z world. Joe's shop has our factory Alcantera material too with matching colors and designs. He even has the same pattern as the seat inserts. This is looking extremely promising! As for my car we are going with a SLR Color Scheme! :D http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...r-1024x768.jpg http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-20...d-1280x960.jpg |
in for updates..

here is a quick chop of what the interior theme may end up being...

That looks bloody awesome. If you do get it done, make sure you send a photo to Nissan HQ. They need some more colour options.
Us Australians have one interior option and one spec option. Everything. Grrr. |
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
you know whats funny! all the changes made in my photochop could probably be done for the price of the touring upgrade or even less than that!!!
Touring is $4500. Sounds expensive to me. Even if it is a lot of leather, I would never consider it a bargain.

You said it could be done for the price of the "touring upgrade", which I interpreted to mean the difference in cost between base and touring ($4500). You are now saying it's nowhere near $4500.
When you said touring upgrade, did you mean this "touring leather upgrade package", not the difference between base and touring? That's the only way to reconcile your two statements. |
Like I said before I am helping the shop develop their product line so as soon as I get info I pass it along to the community :) I should have official pricing this coming week. This has been a developing process to gauge interest on these types of products. With the upcoming pricing info I expect there will be more people willing to go this route. Srry for any confusion. To give u guys an idea of pricing they did a fully custom interior for a 350z in 3-4k ball park range including the roof liner and hatch area! Which is a steal!
updates with pricing coming SOON!
I would just like some seat inserts to match the color of the exterior and maybe some slight dash trim to match also. I bought the chicane yellow so dont want it too bright in there haha.
that is definitely do-able! The owner Joe has a yellow s2k and for the color yellow its better to stick to accent pieces :D but your idea sounds GREAT!

WOw that nice. I wish they gave us that option. Gives it a more exotic look to it.
