I love those skirts, I think they add just the perfect touch for the Z. The best color if a carbon lip and rears are added would be white, b/c it would pop, and maybe some black wheels.

yeah it does stand out on white and i always loved a white car with carbon parts, for now i have black accents on my wheels + 20% window tint

I like how the color contrast works and dont plan on painting the fangs either, a massive black area in front of the car doesn't work for me without a intercooler to match
Plus everyone does blacked out/carbon fangs its good to be different every once in awhile. oh and i dont wanna remove my clearbra there lol

i think it looks boring, like i said might as well hack out the fangs and put a fatty intercooler there.

TypeOne 06-29-2011 02:59 PM

How is the fitment on these things with front splash guards?

You have to remove the splash guards.

Is this difficult? i.e. they are stuck on with some seriously strong adhesive tape, or just remove screws and boom, gone?

i think there a just a few of those rivet clip things holding them on

kenchan 06-29-2011 03:30 PM

they used rivets? really? nissan went to town with rivets on this car! :icon14: rivet this rivet that.

i thought they used brakets and screws.

Cmike2780 06-29-2011 03:45 PM

They screw in I think. The accessory ones are anyways. The ones installed from the factory might be different. I'm not sure.

i dont think any of the Z's came pre-installed with the splash guards.. (?) i think they were all installed by the dealer as a way to rip-off the customer for plastic and screws...

wow, that sounds terrible! :D

I don't know why your so upset. I've had mine on since I got the car two years and not a single splash. They work perfectly!

haha, yah, mine was installed poorly by the dealer and while it was my fault not checking THE BOTTOM of my brand new car with less than 6miles on the odo that it would have a flawed rear splash guard install that i had to fix. :D hahahaha.

it's okay though, i only paid invoice for the car so it was basically a free f-kup luv by the dealer. nothing i couldn't fix but was dissappointed in myself not checking that one little bit during delivery. :rofl2:
