they used rivets? really? nissan went to town with rivets on this car! :icon14: rivet this rivet that.

i thought they used brakets and screws.

They screw in I think. The accessory ones are anyways. The ones installed from the factory might be different. I'm not sure.

i dont think any of the Z's came pre-installed with the splash guards.. (?) i think they were all installed by the dealer as a way to rip-off the customer for plastic and screws...

wow, that sounds terrible! :D

I don't know why your so upset. I've had mine on since I got the car two years and not a single splash. They work perfectly!

haha, yah, mine was installed poorly by the dealer and while it was my fault not checking THE BOTTOM of my brand new car with less than 6miles on the odo that it would have a flawed rear splash guard install that i had to fix. :D hahahaha.

it's okay though, i only paid invoice for the car so it was basically a free f-kup luv by the dealer. nothing i couldn't fix but was dissappointed in myself not checking that one little bit during delivery. :rofl2:

these are the ones that vip-status was selling for refrence, not exactly the same but gives the general idea

I still love the way this one sits on an angle. What did they come from again was it for an rx-7?

I so want to be able to have them on an angle and use the front splash guard. I'd even get just the CF front guard, then it would look like a whole new piece.

The original making of the kit is SunLine Racing, replicas are made by Shine Auto, Areo Jacket and Seibon. Any of them can be found on this forum.
