Really nice fit AK I will do the same as you when i have time LOL...

Just an update on the fujimura CF diffuser... my VHB wasnt so vhb and started to sag about 3mm from the bumper :ugh:
so yanked it off slowly and reapplied a different VHB tape. this time used VHB 5952.

5952 literally has almost no initial cure time... if you make a mistake, like accidentally install your diffuser up-side-down lol,
well, that's permanent. :icon17:

prep... to prevent scuffs i use japanse rice paper masking tape.

Looking good Ken!

Good thing I used 3M VHB 4910 Clear on my Fujimura diffuser + the screws that came with it. I might part out before selling the car in 2070 :rofl2:

When installing the front lip with the same VHB, I was also surprised with the initial cure time. Only after a few seconds I could no longer seperate the lip from the front bumper. I still added 6 more locked nuts and screws to make it permanent
:icon18:

thanks, beemaz. so does the clear tape have more adhesion or??? the tape i used is still black and i saw reviews where people were using it to mount spoilers and stuff. also signs, fastener replacement, etc. this stuff is STRONG. i too used the screws that came with the fujimura. :)

This thread is killing me. I got my VHB tape today and the diffuser just left customs. :excited:

Hope the fitment with mine is as good as yours.

i am sure it is, treesmedyzee. made in japan means something still.

i suggest you kind of 'practice' how you're going to pull the sides over and the bottom before you peel back the tape lining. :) if you just gently place it on the bumper it looks like the evor's finish picture. :icon14: :rofl2:

you have to slightly 'stretch' it open, and let the tape tack down real nice. then the fitment is perfect.

Did you spray any soapy water (like they do on window tinting) to keep if from grabbing too quickly?

i wanted full strength, so no solution. i just aligned the diffuser to my fog lamp, then pulled the ride side bottom, attached it to the bumper. then the left side bottom same thing, then along the top at the end.

at the top i used one long tape. i peeled back the liner about 2" on each side, and folded the liner outward so that i can grab and pull it off while mounting the diffuser about 4-5" at a time to the bumper. :)

after all the liners were off, at the very end i gave it a good push counting to 30 a section at a time. and repeated that 4-5 times. the adhesive needs to be squashed in order to become fully active.
