I hate to thread jack but I will be sending my headlights this week to Igor over at 180custom it will be their first set of 370z headlights... They do really good work. Luckily for me my car will be at the interior shop for a week hehe and I will be out of town so no loss for me. I will post another thread when I get them back from the infamous Igor from myG37!!!

Cool concept and great looking work. Everyone that sees my car ALWAYS asks me if those are LED's anyway sooo....?

Anyway despite the nice looking light setup, I myself simply want a blacked out set.

I don't have a clue how to take it apart and put it back together. Even if i find someone to put it back I would have to worry about moisture problems in the long run.

Look on myG37 and search in the lighting section for Ironman v2.0. Igor of 180customs makes them and has had a 100% success rate in the several years he has been doing this! I know my set fully custom painted and LED'ed will be WELL under $1000.00 all said and done.

I should have them not this weekend but the following weekend. Expect a Review of the lights plus JPM Interior Products and Blue Batmobile Overlays!!!

I have done this mod myslef on my Mazda 6s. It is pretty easy and you can do it like $20 depending on the paint and clear you decide to use. Here is the link to the DIY for the Mazda. I am sure that minus the obvious of it being 2 different cars, you can figure out what things are the same and what is not.

180 customs is located in NY. However, One of there partners is located in cali. They split the requests for headlight mods by east coast and west coast. Pricing for the pair are as follows:

Housing:
Gloss Black: $230
Matte Black: $160
Color Coded: $250

Projector Shrouds:
Gloss Black: $50
Matte Black: $30
Color Coded: $75

LED's & Demon Eye: TBD i am there first set of 370z lights and I will know more when we are finished.

Yeah I wasnt so sure if they were affiliated since they do send business each others ways and they are extremely friendly. :D I guess they are just friendly competitors. Well I have the final design of my headlights finished and it will look something like this when finished:

Slightly confused, isn't the red bulb (bullit's design) going to be umm really really illegal and hard to see? If I am making myself look stupid by asking just let me know.

Also, Lou, any price yet? And Bullit, I take it you have to ship in the lights and they mod them and return like Lou?

exactly you ship they mod you wait for them to return and install. Demon eye is a red LED behind the projector lense that makes it glow red. It is easily visible by day! Yes it is illegal to drive with them on.

If having the demon red eye is illegal then they gotta make the Camaros illegal too. I saw the Black Edition at the Auto Show and it had red halo eyes.

Well bullitt, cool beans to you for the headlights.. i mean I like the way they look but I kind of have to have my car mostly legal, its a daily(and nightly) driver :D lol

LOL mine too is a daily and nightly driver :D I am having a switch installed to cut them on and off ;)
