Thanks mate :)

I had to go this route with the LEDs cause GReddy refused to return my emails even when I have a US address and was going to buy in bulk..

Much happier though - as you can see from my previous link - it is considerably cheaper and just as inconspicuous when off.

yah even me bro... when i tried to buy it it said something something blah blah blah is not supported because of your location?!? i was like really? :shakes head:

I installed them on the lip of the actual front bar.

Looking at it now, I could have stuck it to the bottom of the headlight.. Oh well :(

There's no gap so unless you stick your face right up to the strip, it looks like it is stuck to the headlight.

i like them but i just have a feeling that leds will get played out quickly. it seems once lighting up one part of the car plays out it moves to another spot. first underglow, then interior, now headlights

In retrospect, I should have placed the lights so that the strip is aligned with the leading edge of the headlight assembly but I wasn't sure if I would have clearance issues with the bumper so I decided to play it safe. It turns out there is plenty of clearance so anyone who is going install these should mount them up to the leading edge of the lense.

Thanks that's exactly how I was thinking of mounting them sounds good! I think I like them! I want to see some more pics from Majestik's ones though........

Hey there, you are "de man" for sure! I just ordered some strips from them yesterday! Will just follow your recommendation! Thanks again, stay safe & keep you Z looking good!!:driving::driving:

LMBmikeZ 09-10-2010 10:50 AM

looks good thx for adding the pics majestik! helps to get a better opinion on them and the GReddy ones......

Now to someone with the GReddy ones installed has any one installed them to line up with the starting of the clear lens so they go slight up the curve on the headlight a little more??????:pics::pics::pics::pics: if possible please!!! this and my illuminated sills are my next two "PLANNED MODS" (cause sometimes you just find a deal you can't refuse....lol)

W.O.W. 370Z 09-10-2010 04:12 PM

I have a feeling they shipped out 350z LED to us 370z, whether in error in packaging or what not. I just got a feeling about it when comparing the pictures on Greddy's website between the 350z and 370z DRL kits.

kenchan 09-10-2010 04:23 PM

majestik- ok, this i likes! well done.

kenchan 09-10-2010 04:28 PM

majestik- so the ones you used are the "Audi A5 R8 Style Xenon White or Ultra Blue Side Shine 20" SMD Flexible LED Strip Lights For Headlights, Fog Lights" (?)

simota1 09-10-2010 04:30 PM
