The thing is I cannot do what you guys did, I have the Password JDM pieces that go over the battery & fluids and I am not cutting into them. I am just going to wait for someone to do proper hood dampers which fit the car.

since i connect the battery to its battery manager every weekend i need quick access to the battery and the factory cover is more effective for me. i dont want its umbilical cord hanging out in the engine bay cause it gets too hot for the cord. tried it, temp was near 130F....too hot. i think the radiator cover is a nice decorative piece though. put that and some nice dressupbolts and it will be a very pleant look, i thinks.
