V1 is tops in my mind, if you want to give up some creature comfort for actual utility.
What I mean is, the V1 has the most useful tool in identifying radar...the directional arrows. At first glance, they might seem useless but they are incredibly helpful. They let you know when a cop has passed (or you've passed him). They let you know when one is coming up behind you vs. one that is coming up in front. It's crazy how useful they are. What you give up, in my opinion, is probably one of the best features of the Escort... the GPS ignore feature. If you pass the same false alarms every day, you can configure the device to ignore those alarms automatically based on GPS location. That would be really helpful, as I pass the same 2-3 false alarms every day (Military base).
