Thanks AK. Yep, I'm actually on the group buy.

The whole engine bay should be themed with the color matched pearl white (my powder coater actually has a color that's a near-perfect match) and the illusion violet. The piece on the radiator cap that matches the bar is a billet-aluminum cover, one of several we worked on several months back. We're trying to come up with more ideas to prototype then take to market :tup:

Tower brace looks good I like me some purple! My other car even has purple harnesses :D

Might as well add some of my own now that the engine bay is not completely stock anymore. The only addition is a Stillen G3 intake powdercoated textured black to match my OEM+ theme with the car:

You should powder coat the band clamps black too (minus the threads)

I decided to go just a little "old school" on my tower brace. A local artist did the pinstriping on it along with the striping on the side and my pissed off bee on the back. I think he did a great job! It is amazing to watch a true artist do that stuff by hand.

How well does the paint hold? Is there a clear coat done after to protect your design?

The guy that did the stripes and the bee said that the paint is damn near bullet proof. I make sure to keep it all polished, but no clear coat. It all seems to be holding up perfectly so far. Thanks for the comments.
