Yes u can, I had to do something similar to that.

Humm ture. You might break the fang cover. But sanding down the center lip will be hard too. You might need to cut the fang while it is on the car.

im planning on using a dremel with metal cutter bit to trim parallel along the top portion of the center CF bit... would that be impossible to do? :confused::confused:

As long as you have nerves of steel cutting that close to the bumper itself, then you should be able to. One slip and it is game over for the OEM bumper though!

right, so im not going to be cutting the CF fang and planning to trim the center CF piece of the lip at my work bench. :p

as long as i am within 2mm i can file off the rest by hand, clearcoat the bare CF edge, and use some black mounting tape to close up any gap between the lip's center CF part and the CF fang... at least that's wat im thinking. :D

It's going on Thursday, I've been installing more important parts then alittle front lip. I was suppost to have it installed yesterday, but my installer had a family emergency, so there's really nothing I can do.

So is this lip sit lower than stock? If it is, how much lower is it?

looking at the side view pict, the factory lip is lower so i think you're okay.

It doesn't lower it at all thank god. I still cringe every time I scrape the driveway apron with the factory chin spoiler.

NYJon- looks good :tup: but the fang needs paint and spacers for the wheels. :D ;)

-The lines really flow well with this lip. That looks really good NYJon. Even without painting the fang.

-The "mustache" would def look better if it were CF.

-You could paint the center piece white, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of buying CF.

You need to paint it, or at least spray a clear coat. The paint it comes with is just way too prone to scratches.

I'm going to buy the upper carbon piece, but he is 2 weeks behind.

Nice looks good. My shop has mine painted but can't do my fangs until next Thursday.

I'm gonna go with paint matched lip and same trim black on the fangs that I used on my rear valence.

Can someone who photoshops make the lip all white and his fangs black in either pic ? Rep point for that if possible, im a amatuar photo shopper, ill use paint with a spray can but it wont come out very good, haha...

I think this lip would go well with the sunline sides and rear or the s tune skirts ( that come paint matched ) and sunline rear...

Isn't too in your face enough to require it though.
