What kind of Armorall do you use...

on the dashboard? It seems as though it is a special material that you can't put normal armorall on.

None! NEVER!

That stuff is BAD for your panels. It gets into the pores of your panels and drys them out. Then they crack or warp. I used a dry dust cloth to dust my cars.

ssqpolo 02-12-2009 10:12 PM

dont do it!

OMGWTFBBQ 02-12-2009 10:33 PM

Yeah. None of the Armorall line will EVER touch my car. No thanks. :shakes head:

Crash hit it right on the head.

Do you anything at all?

I have a jeep with the top down most of the time in the AZ baking sun so I need protectant. The people with the most experience on that forum recommended 303 Aerospace Protectant. I have been using it and like the results. We will see how it does in the long haul.

I've used the Armor-All Cleaning Wipes on my last Jeep, a Grand Cherokee for years with no ill effects, if anything, the cheapo American plastics looked brand new for years. I still use them all the time on my new jeep and I think they work just fine. I won't touch the old fashioned style though, even if it was for the other problems, things just shouldn't look that shiny.

I have been VERY pleased by the cleaning wipes and will continue to use them for a long time to come.

I second the recommendation for 303. It's not shiny or greasy and it has UV protectant in it. I've been using it for years.

303 Aerospace Protectant is great stuff! I've used it on my G for 2 years.
Works great on my leather seats, the dash, doors, rubber seals etc. etc.

Has anybody used this, Ultima Interior Guard Plus? I have used the paint guard plus and it works great!! I can't say how long it will last, I've had it on my car about 1 week. So far it has been amazing!

I have always liked Maguire's Interior Detailing spray. Used it on every vehicle I have owned and it works amazing. Armorall is sh*t, they're right about it drying EVERYTHING out!!
