I remember reading in the owners manual that the port under the dash does not recharge the fob, and that the battery still needs to be replaced? If that's true,

I remember reading in the owners manual that the port under the dash does not recharge the fob, and that the battery still needs to be replaced? If that's true, I'm not exactly sure what the port is for unless there's some tech gizmo that allows the car to still start without proximity due to the low battery in the fob.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I dont feel like looking it up in the manual right now. AEF |
