Ok guys I know alot of you hate these and so be it, but those who don't here they are. These pictures dont even come close to doing justice.

370Z JT 05-07-2010 10:00 PM

looks OK. glad you like em.

rhood 05-07-2010 10:02 PM

Thanks man

SkyZ 05-07-2010 10:18 PM

hmmm with the fangs it sort of looks like its snarling. anyways glad u like it.

The BlueMax 05-07-2010 10:25 PM

I went on Ebay motors and found something like yours in white blue or red, but I kind of want amber, so I'm still considering an oval to fill in the fang ports. I know its an irregular shape so just slightly oversize behind and then decide on intensity level and color tone.

caneman88 05-08-2010 11:19 AM

Looks good can you run them at night also and how hard were they to install?
They are the Nissan branded ones right

marcussoori 05-08-2010 11:29 AM

Are those the OEM version lights? If so, why are they yellowish, rather than matching the color of the HIDs?

mdbrich 05-08-2010 11:40 AM

not my style

spearfish25 05-08-2010 12:17 PM

I like the lights, but I wish they weren't as bulky and 'stick on' looking. Maybe putting them into one of the grill slots...

SoCal 370Z 05-08-2010 12:22 PM

About the only potential downside is that they highlight there is no front license plate for those who live in States were front plates are required.

rhood 05-08-2010 12:29 PM

Yeah they are the Factory leds, You can not use them at night, They come with wiring harness that plugs in to the fuse box in the engine compartment and into the emergency brake inside the car. So when your auto headlights come on they go off, which goes to the next point of the yellowish color. The camera took the picture that way but they are actually very bright white, way more than the headlights. The lights bolt on the black portion of the bumper and made of the exact material so they blend very well, very high quality lights and harness, not cheap looking at all.

Zigen5 05-08-2010 12:40 PM

Different... Kinda like it, original... Got
more pics at night?

SoCal 370Z 05-08-2010 12:57 PM

Any chance of getting a pic taken looking down to the ground over the lights to see how far they protrude? Thanks.

dad 05-08-2010 01:25 PM

How much do they cost?

rhood 05-08-2010 03:01 PM

Yeah man I will take some pictures tonight for you. Price is still a little pricey but oh well its $690.00, but for the ease of connecting then and to be orginal led of Nissan's i think its worth that.

spearfish25 05-08-2010 03:07 PM

The more I look at them, the more I think they look like buck teeth. Maybe we could mount them lower somehow?

I think the trick would be if they could be mounted behind the front fascia with drilled holes and some thin covers for the front (too hard to try to drill five perfect holes on each side).

Instructions for you Jim.

Sorry here it is!

shadoquad 05-08-2010 03:33 PM

I had wondered what these would look like when I saw them in the parts catalog. Much better than I'd anticipated.

rhood 05-08-2010 03:37 PM

Thank you, I really will try to get better pictures of them , because I didnt like them when I first saw them in the catalog, but Im very happy with the results. Much better in person and on. Seen a Porche the other day (not sure what Model) but they had something very similar and looked great. Almost wrecked try to see them. ha

Pretty intensive install.

rhood 05-08-2010 03:41 PM

Wiring was a piece of cake. Just uninstall a couple of harnesses and connect the ones that come with the lights and reconnect the old ones into the new. The bumper part was just a little time pressing

dad 05-08-2010 06:48 PM

Now that you have DRL's! Contact your insurance company, and see if they will knock off a few bucks on your premium.

TheWeatherman 05-08-2010 06:52 PM

Hey! That looks like an EX35 parked next to you. That's a nice little machine! I have a question because I've been thinking of having these mounted for months.... Why do they look a little yellow in the pics? Are they actually bright white like the Germans'? They look really neat, but the installation scares me. Like someone else said, that looks quite "involved." Congrats, and I like them... If they look like the Germans. (Bright white.)

rhood 05-08-2010 07:31 PM

Not sure why they turned out yellow in the picture, because they are NOT yellow at all. They all brighter and more white then any light on a vehicle I have even seen. Trust me I have said it over and over again. ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! IMO

Looks white to me! Maybe those that are seeing yellow are suffering from jondus!

AK370Z 05-08-2010 08:49 PM

Thanks for posting. They look good I think.

rhood 05-08-2010 10:20 PM

Thanks dad and AK, means alot. Thank you for taking time to view.

gumpy 05-09-2010 08:28 AM

Since the car has so many boomerang edges i think the led's down the inside edge of the lights and along the bottom of the front light cluster would work well... adding them to the black intake part just looks tacked on...

The irony, and I have mentioned this in a past thread, is that I have actually seen these mounted on an Altima and they are certainly very bright so they do get across clearly what they are meant to do. I don't know that you could mount them elsewhere (simply because there isn’t much of elsewhere on the front of the Z) and have them have the effect they have versus simply being an accent accessory.

Hopefully these pictures you can see better

RCZ 05-10-2010 03:10 PM

maybe if they didnt stick out as much? maybe mount them lower between the grill blades?

simota1 05-10-2010 04:17 PM

i think they look ok.... i just wish they lit up whitish instead of yellow... good job bro i think your the first one with these fogs...

zero 05-10-2010 05:11 PM

It looks like it missing front teeth.

js1 05-15-2010 09:59 AM

can you wire these to come on at night instead of during the day

rhood 05-15-2010 06:13 PM

Im sure you can wire these up to light up at night, but I think once you see them and how BRIGHT they are, you wouldnt want to. Also since its a Nissan product it comes with all the wiring and harness so no extra wiring or splicing involved. And once again I have to say they are NOT yellow at all. As a matter of fact the Nissan service man couldnt believe how bright white they are, he thought is was the led's for the Porche.

Trips 05-15-2010 06:16 PM

I'm still not liking them.
