so I ordered a set from Zociety and they look amazing.

Were you put in the pre order list. Got an email immediately after my inquiry saying its a 7-8 week wait time. Is that accurate?

Needless to say I love the look and still went with it anyway. The wait begins

i did the same heres what my email said,

Got it! Thanks! We will hit you up when we start fabricating your set (7-8 weeks). Once we get them back from paint, we will ask for the payment (PayPal only) and shipping info. Feel free to email us whenever to check the status of your Louvers!

Your shipping cost will be roughly $120, we got a quote for 350z Louvers and they weigh a little less than 370z Louvers.

Thank you for your patience!

so these are not hinged unfortunately so cleaning is going to be tough. today is the first wash since installing I will post to let you know how it goes.

as for install it was quite easy they install with 3m double sided tape. I used the 30 pound tape so it was quite nerve wrecking. one thing I recommend.

measure

then measure again.

also to answer the time thing it took roughly around 8-12 weeks but I absolutely love the look and will say that it is worth the wait.

Looking forward to hearing how bad the cleaning was. Didn't even think about that. Can't even imagine the spots and dirt that's gonna build up beneath it.

And you think about it I've seen people attach front lips held on with 3m and it stays on. I'm not excited about just the 3m but atleast the downforce is working with it and not against it.

Rear window Louvers?

Well I'm an idiot who doesn't look at the directions. This was before I installed. Just a quick test but didn't put it a 1/2 inch away from the top like they suggest so it rubs where the roof meets when I open it. Gonna re install and take some pictures. Here's the test fit

Has anybody paint matched it?

Another option. And they can be removed for window cleaning. But they don't look as good.

Fits 09-17 Nissan 370Z IKON Style Rear Window Louver Cover ABS

I like the design of the Ikon but the plastic looks.... blaahh. i wanna see them in aluminum or painted. the flat plastic makes them look cheap IMO.

cooltoy 07-27-2017 12:09 AM

I agree. That' what I meant by not as good - cheap. Painted might look better.
