The bumper has an inlet built for the Gen III intakes, small but enough to pump in even more air.

soo.....when is the photoshoot with some good lighting on that mesh? right now it looks like it went from catfish to...er...a fish will a really big mouth :icon14: lol

it's not bad, but i need to see it at diff angles and such, right now it's throwing me off a bit

Mike 04-28-2010 06:24 PM

Didn't get around to picking it up today. Getting it in the morning, installing coilovers then towing it to Forged for a corner balance and alignment. Stormfront is going to do a proper photoshoot next week.

Red370 04-28-2010 06:25 PM

I personally love the way it looks, and mike, why dont you throw a wiper fluid cooler on there while you're at it:roflpuke2:

NYBladeZ 04-28-2010 06:50 PM

Mike what wing do you have on there?? I'm looking for a big functional wing to go with my CF hatch

It's funny you mention that...We're actually working on a smaller relocated windshield washer bottle so that it doesn't show behind the fascia...

Psssh, just buy it from Injen :stirthepot:

Kyle@STILLEN 04-28-2010 07:51 PM

We did try the Injen (we have a great relationship with the guys over there) unfortunately they relocate the bottle to the outside, not the inside...so it basically just put the bottle in the front of the opening.

LiquidZ 04-29-2010 07:49 AM

I can't imagine how awesome this will look with a nice intercooler in there.

HKYStormFront 04-29-2010 12:14 PM

how come your wife has pics of this on her facebook but you haven't posted anything here mike? :stirthepot: :)

JB-370z 04-29-2010 04:12 PM

No telling what your going to scoop up with that big mouth of yours. Some how I ended up getting a tootsie roll in my front dam. When I changed the oil this was the last thing I expected to find.
At least the engine will get tons of air flow.

Mike 04-29-2010 04:44 PM

I was working all day! pics coming soon in my journal thread, maybe 1 in this one.

that is straight badass

HKYStormFront 04-29-2010 05:12 PM

i dig it, can't wait to see this thing in person. my only gripe (and it's a small one) is how angular the side openings are, doesn't really flow with the curvy-ness of the rest of the car

coming to Zdayz Raul??? Its worth the drive! Ask Gus, he made it one year.

RCZ 04-29-2010 08:24 PM

I want to and I think my sponsors deserve for me to drive out there and show the car. It's not out of the question, but its a hell of a drive. I have a few more weeks to think about it... I still don't feel the car "looks" the part yet. Specially with folks like you running around looking all ridiculously awesome. I'll see if there are any vendors who want to do something, but as of right now its a maybe!

Oh btw....in case you dont know already. A tip: go to home depot and buy yourself some of that garage door rubber seal liner and stick it under the bumper to provide at least some degree of scratch protection.

Mike 04-29-2010 08:27 PM

thanks all, I am really happy with it.

For whoever asked, bumper alone was about 250 for paint, 350 for blending and fitting, plus the cost of the bumper and shipping.

PapoZalsa 04-29-2010 08:28 PM

The car looks nice, but that wing is HUGE!!!!!

yes it is, but probably about half of my miles on the car so far are on the track, and its functional. I am still considering making it track only at this point, but I do love driving it on the street also, so I am reluctant!!

LiquidZ 04-30-2010 07:24 AM

Glad you got it back Mike! Looks great.

Also, props to Stillen for the fascia.

Vegitto-kun 04-30-2010 07:35 AM

It strangely looks too good to make fun off

KingKing 04-30-2010 11:24 PM

the bumper looks great! Completely different than the 2 toned red colored photoshop that was posted up earlier

G Fo12ce 05-02-2010 11:57 AM

I like it, nice car.

scruffydog 05-05-2010 05:12 PM

nice bumper! I like the side vent holes. Hopefully it can also be used for cooling the brakes as well as intake.

Kyle@STILLEN 05-05-2010 07:29 PM

Our fascia and the rockers/roof wing and deck wing have all arrived back from paint today so I'm hoping to have completed pictures of the car for everyone tomorrow afternoon! We should also be able to install the front brake ducts/fangs as they have also been completed!

Josh@STILLEN 05-06-2010 08:04 PM

Car is assembled.. still doing some final prep like mounting the tires and such.. but here's a sneak peek of the painted pieces on the car!
