Everyone,
All of your comments on the 3M and Ventureshield clear film bras are very good. My concerns for its long-term effects are as follows: - Can water slowly seep below the film's surface? - Can temperature extremes change the quality of the film? - Will the film slowly peel? - Will the clear film turn cloudy? I would think that paint needs to breathe. If so, can the film be removed for that purpose? In summary, what if a high-quality paste wax was used more often on the front and top of the hood for protection and the rest of the vehicle for protection, would this not add a layer of protection against light sand, small stones and pebbles, flying bugs, et cetera? Any thoughts? spryor Last edited by spryor; 04-18-2010 at 03:29 AM. |
