bug, tar, grease remover?

What do you guys use to remove the small black specs on the paint? I'm assuming it's grease. I have been using turtle wax but read it can scratch the

What do you guys use to remove the small black specs on the paint? I'm assuming it's grease. I have been using turtle wax but read it can scratch the paint. I prefer dabbing a little bit of something rather than spraying it on my car. Maybe someone can recommend a wax that doesn't remove oxidation or swirl marks.
