Default Anyone else have a moisture problem in there tail lights?

Ive been noticing moisture lately in one of my taillights. I kinda hoped it was a one time thing since my car is usually garaged kept but i think its something im going to complain about when i go in for my first oil change. Just curious if anyone else had any problems like this?

They have several vents in them and will dry out if left out in the sun....
Condensation is generally the cause. Large temp changes from day to night create the problem..

but only the left one does it and its every time i wash the car or it rains now. I did not notice that vent when i took the tail light off today to change out my turn signals. Is it something that could be adjusted or is it pretty much the way it is? thanks for the the pics though

Same issue, same tail light....it's barely noticeable and generally dries out within a day. If you take to your dealership, let me know what they say.

If you look at the pic above of the valve apart, that white on the top is a permeable membrane. YOu could punch some holes in it to get air to flow easier, or pull it off completely. It does take a fair amount of pressure to blow through it. If you pull it completely though, you run the risk of bugs getting in there...

I love this site. I just noticed their was water in my tail light after I washed it last week - now that I know its vented and not sealled I'm not really worried about it...

Same here. I had the car for a week and noticed there was condensation. The dealer said that it is normal but if it kept happening they would replace it. It has gone away and haven't really noticed it lately.

You guys hititng the lights with high pressure from the hose? Always best to use a mild spray from the hose rather than the jet setting.
