its for your passengers so their wires and s*&T are not all over the place in the way of the shifter i would assume

Related question: Looking for my clutch pedal but can't find it. All I see is one gas pedal and two brake pedals.

The clutch is the handle next to your right leg.

Seen here in the "active" position (ready to change gears):

I agree the outlet on the passenger mount is a PIA I still use the cig lighter adapter for my V1 and at times it'll become dislodged

Vipor, thank you for the advice. Unfortunately it seems my clutch is defective as it locked my rear tires up.

Maybe there's a TSB about that issue..... Works fine on my car :icon14:

Actually the Z has 2 brake pedals (front and back) and one short throw clutch pedal on the far left. The throw is so short people mistake it for a foot rest.
