Who's the engineer that decided to put the power outlet at the feet of the passenger?

Just bought a 2009 Base model, think they did a great job on most parts of interior (except the 3 dials on dash, which i find pretty useless unless you race or heavily mod your car)

But who the hell thought it would be smart to put the power outlet at practically the floor of the passenger side? i dont have one in the center console, so when im charging my iphone and need to answer it, it doesnt reach! i dont think any charger would reach that far!?

That is so she can hook up her vibrator without having to raise her skirt.

There is a charger in the center console, if you lift that little black tray.

lol, so there's the second one.... still find the other one to be in a pretty useless position compared to being in the center console

Agreed. It's in the same place in my wife's SUV as well. Right where a knee belongs.

Oh you must mean the little black tray that no one can use because the power socket is underneath it.

Related question: Looking for my clutch pedal but can't find it. All I see is one gas pedal and two brake pedals.

The clutch is the handle next to your right leg.

Seen here in the "active" position (ready to change gears):

I agree the outlet on the passenger mount is a PIA I still use the cig lighter adapter for my V1 and at times it'll become dislodged

Vipor, thank you for the advice. Unfortunately it seems my clutch is defective as it locked my rear tires up.

Maybe there's a TSB about that issue..... Works fine on my car :icon14:

Actually the Z has 2 brake pedals (front and back) and one short throw clutch pedal on the far left. The throw is so short people mistake it for a foot rest.
