Oh, you never mentioned that you were on a budget. You are better off getting a fly1 copy. Quality jdm parts are not cheap. But you get what you pay for.

im leaning towards the fuji right now. i think the varis v1 will be too many vents cause i have vented fenders as well from alliance carbon. I think the fuji will look best with the fenders. I also have a shine auto amuse rep kit on order, so i was trying to piece it all together in my head

The best thing about the Fuji pieces is they always look good regardless what you pair em with. The only thing I can think might make it look bad is a widebody fender that doesn't line up.

The Ver.I and Ver.II(Kamikaze-Z version) are the same exact bonnet, except the center vent and ducts.

The Ver.I can always be upgraded at a later date by ordering the vent/ducts as well individually.

If considering Fujimura Auto, we have 3 VeilSide bonnets arriving in 2 weeks(estimated based on the port situation, already overdue by a month) which have the same outter vents as the Fujimura Auto bonnets, but have 2 additional upper vents to help allow heat release.

What I hate about most of the vented hoods is that the vents are wide open and let any water pour down into the engine bay. At least the Fuji has channels to divert the water away from the engine. Not sure how well they work though

Varis hoods come with removeable rain guards.

In general, all of the hoods' vents are strategically located on the hoods to drip into the bay in areas that really are no concern of getting wet, avoiding electrical and air filter boxes.

For the z34 the Fujimura Auto, VeilSide, INGS+1, Varis, Circuit Concept, etc

Water enters your engine bay through the front bumper anyways so it shouldn’t be an issue with a vented hood. Unless you plan on scuba diving with your Z it should be fine.

I’ve driven through rain with a vented hood, no undershroud, and no fender liners and my Z is still doing fine.

Different looking vents, but a nice looking hood anyway.

Water doesn't enter my engine bay through my bumper. I like to keep my engine bay clean and have seen pictures of some nasty looking engine bays from guys that are running vented hoods with no rain guards

RHD is legit.

Regardless of which place you go with, it's going to be probably a 6+ month wait for production, then surface shipping, then freight to you or your body shop.

I believe there are some shenanigans going on about North American distribution of Varis; certain outlets were trying to get exclusive distribution rights and effectively "block off" everyone else from getting stuff directly from Varis.

Varis direct dealers can be found here:

OptionZero 12-05-2021 02:24 PM

Is BP taking a cut of all North American sales, or did their plan to be exclusive not work out?
