EVO-r carbon vented engine cover

EVO-R INC. Nissan 370Z Z34 Carbon Fiber Vented Engine cover

Does anyone have experience with this piece? I view all Evo-R products with extreme caution and I would only buy if in stock at somewhere like the Z Store

Top secret is impossible to find and over a grand which is too much for a cosmetic piece.’

Synergy composites and seibon are just copies of the OEM in carbon

This adds the two vents , which i am skeptical are functional but at least look different than stock

Pretty bad when the link won't even load.

OZ, I would only order this from the Z Store. Just make sure they have it in stock. I have thought of ordering this as well. I have not heard anything from Evor-R in a long time.

I have not heard anything bad about it. But there is always a chance. Z store will take care of you if you have issues.

I actually just ordered this piece and installed it last week. Fit perfectly. I would order straight from him…I’ve ordered mirrors, wing, 3rd brake light and the engine cover straight from his website and never had an issue. Also jay has emailed me pretty regularly if I have any questions.

Out of stock, 6-8 week wait per Z store

Also they are a perfect company that always responds right away when in stock parts are delayed for months or received damaged.

lol....just giving my experience. what do you think the z store does? they literally drop ship, inspect and ship to you. also, its an engine cover, no moving parts or anything. id bet youd be okay with 2 pieces of carbon fiber

also i feel like people give this guy so much cr4p but ive had 5 separate orders with no issue. always got tracking and all in the matter of 1-2 days. people love repeating what they read on here with no experience of their own

lol ... wrong. Drop ship by definition would mean the vendor doesn't inspect it. Seeing 1 in stock on the Evo-r site is scary. He does that to try and encourage more sales regardless of stock status; he's done it for years.

So far you've had a good experience with Jay, but just wait until something is messed up and you ask for a replacement - he will stop responding to you entirely forever. You are one person and lots of people have a terrible experience buying direct. The Z Store is far less risk. Time has proven that.

OptionZero 10-13-2021 12:50 PM

I am not giving EVO-R a dime without an intermediary like the Z store unless I'm at the factory picking up **** in person, and even then I'd think twice.

yes your'r right;sorry, i wasnt sure if he drop shipped or sent it to himself first. i get it, id be more weary if it was anything more than an engine cover...

also just curious as to how many people have actually had an issue....or if everyone just knows someone whos had an issue...

also, the ball bearings in my mirrors came loose, i emailed him and within 2 days he sent me an email back with a video on how to tighten them...just saying....i dont understand how im the only person whos had luck with his items?
