Turn Signal Positive in Headlights
Does anyone know what wire is the positive power wire in the headlight for the turn signal? There are 3 wires in there and i need to tap into them for my halos that i added. The halos will turn orange when i use the turn signals or hazards.
I tried looking at the FSM and i just couldnt understand the wiring diagram. If anyone can just help out and tell me what wire is the power so i can tap into that from the turn signal bulbs in the headlights that would be much appreciated. :hello: |
Probe the connector with a meter.

Go to the FSM. The manual is Exterior Lighting System Page 75 (EXL-75). Look at the second image (sec. 260).
The part labeled "2. Front Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Socket" should be what you're looking for. Test it with a meter or voltage tester by turning the turn signal on and off to make sure it is correct |
skipped the hassle, went straight for the green wire on the turn signal harness in the headlight. it turn out to be correct
GREEN WIRE is the positive for the turn signal for anyone who needs it in the future. |
