Default Reverse lights not working

Hey Folks

I was all excited about my new head unit and being able to add a backup camera to my car when I came to find out my backup lights aren’t working (I noticed before I spliced into the reverse lights FYI ). I did a quick visual for failed fuses but couldn’t find any specific to back up lights. I also haven’t checked the reverse switch on the transmission yet either but I don’t expect this as my cars a 2016 with 15000 km, it shouldn’t have failed that soon.

My question is has anyone ever experienced this before and what was the cause? What fuses should I be checking ? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the reverse lights so I can start metering my way back?

Thanks in advance

Visually checking fuses doesn't work very well. Put a meter on it/them.

Fuse locations are in the Owner's Manual. If you don't have an OM, you can download a PDF from Nissan's web site.

Fuse locations and wiring diagrams are in the FSM. Link in my sig.
