Did you check the fuses in the IPDM? There are also some fusible links that you may want to check.
I've never done the airbag reset, but going by what I've read on this site, it can take several tries to get it right - timing is critical. Edit: Location of IPDM and fusible links may be in the Owner's Manual. Will definitely be in the FSM (link in sig).
